AT&T Headquarters

AT&T Headquarters

Proposal with ESI Design

Background

AT&T approached our team looking for ideas on a new installation to top off an ongoing renovation of their corporate headquarters in Dallas, dubbed the Discovery District. They requested two schemes: one that includes a ‘golden boy’ sculpture that currently lives in the building, and one with the statue removed. In a week’s time, we concepted and presented a dynamic interactive media sculpture.

Strategy

The installation is made up of three separate arms, abstractly representing the main technology components of AT&T’s business. The arms come together to form one coherent form at the center of the lobby tower. Excerpts from AT&T/Time Warner’s media properties play artfully on the exterior facets, and interactive stories about how the technology itself are displayed on the interior.

This is a rough video mockup to demonstrate how the installation displays different stories concurrently.

The installation extends out of each of three main entrances to the tower.
